Vandelay Industries is an importer/exporter. We do not make the coffee, the tequila, or the goods. We get them into the European Union, Japan, and the niche markets in between, with the documents, the regime, and the sailing that the destination actually requires.
European Union
The EU import pack. CE marking when the goods sit under a directive. EEA and Switzerland travel with it.
Japan
The Japan import pack. PSE for electrical goods. Food Sanitation Act for food, drink, tableware, and cosmetics.
Everywhere else
United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the rest. If several markets are named and none of them is the EU or Japan, this is the track.
Same product line, both regimes, in parallel. Do not pretend one certificate covers both.
What we actually do
Onboarding by market
OnboardA new enquiry is read for destination first. The goods go on the EU, Japan, or Rest-of-World track. Nothing else is promised until the market is named.
Compliance
ClearCE / EU Declaration of Conformity. Japan PSE and Food Sanitation. Dual-market when both apply. If the category, the destination, or the HS code is missing, the file is held for documents, not guessed.
Supplier grading
VetKnown Vandelay vendors of ordinary goods move fast. New suppliers of ordinary goods get standard due diligence. Anything that touches a sanctioned jurisdiction, a restricted party, dual-use technology, or a blank ownership chain is enhanced, and it does not proceed on its own.
Freight and the desk
DeliverOcean, air, warehouse receiving, customs, FDA prior notice, EEI, duties, last mile. Booking through proof of delivery.
